Supplementing with these six minerals will prevent over 120 diseases.

Selenium and zinc will prevent a long list of birth defects, including SIDS and cleft palate.

It’s staggering to think this information should have been common knowledge since the 1980s.

The top six mineral supplements

Calcium, Selenium, Copper, Vanadium, Chromium, Zinc

There are 54 more but for now, let us look at these five.

Minerals are chemical elements

Mineral supplements are chemical elements that are absorbed by plants.

If these minerals were not present in the ground from which plants were grown, they won’t be in the plants.

Plants can produce vitamins from the carbon dioxide in the air, but not minerals. Even nitrogen needs to be absorbed through the roots.

As crop soils and grazing pastures become depleted of minerals, the nutritional value of our food diminishes.

The research project

Dr. Joel Wallach (Dead Doctors Don’t Lie, 1999), through 12 years of research, found that minerals need to be present in every chemical reaction pertaining to life. This means that vitamins provide zero nutritional value without the presence of one or more minerals.

Not long after graduating with degrees of agricultural science and veterinarian pathology, Wallach was invited by two of his associates to work on a research project that came with a grant of $7 million in 1966, to find a “canary in a coal mine” concerning pollution.

After more than twenty thousand autopsies on animals and humans, it was clear that every death from natural causes is the result of a disease caused by a mineral deficiency.

He had discovered that minerals were vital to the immune system which not only fights disease but hunts down viral and bacterial infections which initially enter the body undetected.

Nutritional mineral supplements come in four forms.

image of subject

  • Tablets
  • Capsules
  • Powders
  • Colloidal based powders and liquid

Most people are familiar with the first three. Tablets and capsules contain measured quantities of medicinal or nutritional substances. Tablets are solid and need to dissolve in the stomach before they can be absorbed, while capsules are absorbed more quickly because they have a liquid core. Powders need to be dissolved in water first and are absorbed more readily than capsules or tablets.

Plant-derived colloidal minerals

Colloidal minerals are extracted from shale deposits that contain decomposed plant matter. The nutritional minerals contained therein are extracted via a washing and filtration process. This form of mineral supplement is significantly more available for absorption than the tablets, capsules, and powders.

Plant-derived colloidal mineral supplements are 98% absorbable.

In the course of his research, Dr. Wallach identified more than 60 essential minerals. After reviewing his findings (Wallach, 1999), I have chosen six as an illustration of how vitally important minerals for maintaining your immune system.

There is evidence that clearly shows humans are designed to consume and use high calcium diets.

It is estimated that humans are consuming 70% to 80% less calcium than those living 1000s of years ago.

Ideally, humans need at least 1,600mg daily, but in America, for example, people are only consuming between 300 to 700mg per day.

A person with a fulltime job needs to be consuming 2,000 to 3,000mg per day and with our crop soils the way they are, that’s a lot of broccoli.

The calcium cost of protein

A vitally important but little known factor here is the calcium cost of protein.

The Western diet tends to be high in protein. A major component of this protein is phosphorus.

It combines with your stomach acid to form phytic acid which seeks out calcium.

If there is insufficient calcium in the rest of the meal, the phosphorus-based acid gets into the bloodstream and attacks bone.

The salt formed is insoluble and accumulates to form bone spurs, kidney stones, and calcium deposits.

Over time osteoporosis, brittle bones, degenerative arthritis, lower back pain, spinal stenosis, and elevated blood calcium can occur.

Lower back pain comes when the cartilage between vertebrae is not housed properly and puts pressure on the spinal cord (the worn down housing fails to keep the cartilage in place).

This is a pattern that can occur in any joint.

The phytic acid damage

This damage can be reversed by supplementing with, calcium, copper, glucosamine, and vitamin D.

The Harvard medical school did a double-blind study on the effectiveness of glucosamine.

Afterward, they somehow managed to put a patent on chicken cartilage.

The truth about arthritis

Unless severe damage has been done arthritis can be cured in 1 to 3 months. Pain reduction begins in days. Painkillers over a long period are costly and cause organ damage.

Prednisone and cortisone actually subdue the immune system.

Generally, doctors treat arthritis with a course of a series of painkillers increasing in strength.

This continues until the patient dies.

They make no attempt to cure the disease because they deem it to be a genetically transmitted disease and therefore incurable.

[…] if the truth were released [about arthritis], the “0rthodox” doctors would lose an entire specialty in short order, so they keep it a secret.

A dietary calcium/phosphorus ratio of 2:1 is ideal yet impossible to attain in an unsupplemented diet. A vegetarian diet gets close but is complicated by “phytates” (a natural chelating substance found in plants), which makes even supplemented calcium unavailable.

The calcium/phosphorus ratio is consistent:

Dr. Wallach’s Pig Arthritis Formula

Animals with arthritis tend not to move much and don’t get enough to eat. Consequently, they lose weight. This problem is quickly eliminated if its carers know what to do. They add the appropriate supplements to the animal’s feed and make sure it’s eaten.

Dr. Wallach’s Pig Arthritis Formula is contained in Youngevity’s Healthy Body Paks.

Selenium is the most powerful antioxidant and its effectiveness is greatly enhanced by the presence of vitamins A, C, and E. These three seek out rancid fat and vegetable oil.

Rancid fat in the body, partially manifest as age or liver spots, and the golden-brown pigment of aging.

The scary implication is that if you can find half a dozen or more “spots” on your skin there are millions of these things on all of your internal organs even the backs of your eyeballs.

“Selenium also functions to protect cellular and organelle bilipid layer membranes from oxidative damage.

High intakes of vegetable oil including salad dressing, olive oil, coconut oil, or any cooking oil, concurrent with a selenium deficiency, is the quickest route  to heart attack and cancer ” (Dead Doctors Don’t Lie, Dr. Wallach, 1999, p. 263)

Selenium is also the cure for cystic fibrosis. This discovery triggered a vicious backlash from the upper echelons of the medical establishment and so is suppressed information, they still looking for something they can patent. Selenium will also slow down the clinical onset of full-blown AIDS.

The following is a list of diseases that are totally preventable.

You can often see famous people who are affected or dying from an obvious copper deficiency by their white, grey, or silver hair. I was recently surprised when I saw Talking Heads lead vocal, David Byrne. He still looks relatively young, but his hair is one shade away from white. He reminded me of the wolflike Vincent (played by Tom Cruise), in the movie Collateral.

In 2014 after 8 years of daily saunas – sweating out valuable minerals – my hair had gone red to white. I’m guessing I had several mineral deficiencies. I could no longer go jogging and was wary of steep downward slopes (calcium and copper deficiency).

Farmers back in the 1950s began to demand answers when any of their livestock died.

They wanted autopsies done, something that doesn’t usually happen when humans die.

This led to the practice of feeding livestock with feed infused with mineral supplements.

Dr. Wallach. who grew up on a farm, asked his father one day, “Pa, if the animals live off the same land as we do, how come you feed them supplements and not us?” The answer was something along the lines of “Shut up son, you’re getting plenty of fresh air and exercise, get on with your work!”

Veterinarians, it would seem, have always known more about nutrition than doctors. Hopefully, the knowledge of the nutritional benefits of taking minerals will become more widely known in the future.
